この記事とても良いです。JOJさんのことも出ています。これぜんぶ訳したい。いつになるかわからんけど^^;

特にこのパートがJOJファン的に重要。でも他のパート、特にSwingやUnderstudyについての記述もとてもいいです:
This brings me to the subject of John Owen Jones. When I asked the Twitter Massive who they thought was the most underrated West End performer, many replied with Owen Jones (or JOJ as fans refer to him). On one hand, I can see exactly where they are coming from. Many, including myself, were surprised when John was not chosen to perform as Valjean at the aforementioned O2 concert. He has, after all, been voted “Best Ever Les Miserables Performer” and “Best Ever Jean Valjean” by fans of the show. Many also seen it as a shock when he was not chosen to perform as The Phantom in the 25th Anniversary concert production of The Phantom of the Opera, staged at the Royal Albert Hall when he has performed the role more than any other actor in the show’s 25 year history.

On the other hand, many see it as an honour he has been selected to play both Valjean and The Phantom in brand new touring productions of both shows as part of their anniversary celebrations. He received rave reviews nationwide for his portrayal of Valjean, going on to win the Manchester Evening News Award for Best Actor in a Visiting Production. What’s more, he even took the role of Valjean to Broadway in September 2007 until the show closed in January 2008. This is what confuses me. Will fans of stars such as John Owen Jones, Idina Menzel, Kerry Ellis and Ramin Karimloo (these were also answers to my Twitter question) not be happy until they have platinum selling albums, sold out tours and a chat show? Is Michael Ball’s career the ultimate goal for stage performers?
